We are glad to welcome you at Napule’ and offer the new specials from our wonderful couple – Ade and Peppe. They recommend: San Daniele prosciutto crudo with melon as a starter, pizza Siciliana (with eggplants a funghetto, Mozzarella, Parmigiano, Ricotta, basil and black olives), Focaccia with San Daniele prosciutto crudo, orecchette with broccoli and pork, and watermelon granite with apple and honey for afters.

Aug 03, 2010     Festival of sparkling wines from Ferrari (Trentino, Italy)
Even if you missed an opportunity to try a couple of Taittinger champagnes by the glass, there is a good way to catch-up with the festival activity of Biancoro: this Tuesday a new one is starting, this time it will be sparkling wines from Ferrari - a renown Italian producer from Trentino. And it is not just generic type of bubbly that we are talking about, two wines that are going to be served by the glass are white and rosé brut from Ferrari’s millesime line called Perlé (vintages 2004 and 2003 accordingly). And in order to complete the festival composition we will present a flagship wine of Ferrari - Riserva del Fondatore, which is dedicated to Giulio Ferrari – the founder of the house. That is a good example of a great sparkling wine produced outside of Champagne: Blanc de Blanc (pure Chardonnay), single vineyard (Maso Pianizza), 10 years of maturity. The wine is not cheap, but see what Champagne you can get for the same money! ;)

Jul 23, 2010     Wine festival of Toscana: “Ornellaia and others” (July 23 - 31)
Have you ever tried that famous Super-Tuscan called Ornellaia? If not, there is a good reason to do it, as we are going to serve it by the glass during our new wine festival. It will be rather impossible to name a wine publication that have not yet issued its highest mark to that precious prodigy invented by Lodovico Antinori some 30 years ago… Besides Ornellaia we will show another two reds from Tenuta dell'Ornellaia: Le Volte è Le Serre Nuove. All wines are blends based on French grapes.

In case you would be willing to tame the thirst caused by merciless weather, there will be a comfortable entry program consisting of two wines from Maremma by Terre di Talamo: white (Vermentino in purezza) and rose’ called «Piano Piano» (which means «step by step», - not a bad name, eh?)

The new specials from our Chef Costantino include: canape’ with tuna fillets and arugula; prosciutto with melon; pappardelle with seabream and squash flowers; enigmatic ravioli; risotto with chanterelle and two very particular main courses.

Welcome to taste our new special menu: summer tomato salad with provolone cheese, balsamico sauce, almonds and basil; roast beef with frisée salad, capers and “marinata” sauce; pizza “Salentina” (with cherry tomatoes, shrimps, capers, Mozzarella, zucchini, Parmigiano and white pepper). And Grandpa’s Turiddu lemon granite with almond cookie for afters.

Jun 04, 2010     Our new wine festival: “Gavi plus Toscana” (June 4 - 13)
Congratulations with arrival of both summer and new wine festival!

Why not to meet June with Gavi in the glass?! (There will be two wines from Castellari Bergaglio: fresh Salluvii and late-harvest Pilin). And then why not to continue with beautiful rose’ called Gròttolo from Colle Massari?!! Be careful as that particular rose’ is awfully pleasant to sip so the overdosing could be an issue… For the red part of the game we propose Governo di Castellare from Castellare di Castellina (made with traditional Tuscan Governo method, when the juice of lightly dried grapes is added to the wine that just finished fermenting), Bolgheri Rosso from Le Macchiole (a voluptuous blend of Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Sangiovese and Syrah) and pure Sangiovese called Torrione from Fattoria Petrolo (a brother of famed Merlot Galatrona). By the way, in 2009 our festival’s Torrione of 2007 vintage made to the “top-100 wines of the world” by Wine Spectator with honourable #37.

A coinciding specials from our Chef Costantino Passalacqua includes: steamed baby sturgeon with couscous and cappers; wood-burning oven baked bruschette with cherry tomatoes etc.; spicy bavette with baby octopus and shrimps in tomato sauce; homemade fettuccine with ceps and stewed squids; risotto Parma style; kingklip fish tomato stew and grilled beef on skewer with brandy and Dijon mustard sauce.

Just one more thing: have you tried our caffe’ affogato yet? The one with artisan Italian ice-cream?.. :)

Welcome to the summer menu at boutiquebar Biancoro. Among the gastronomic pleasures – eel and pureed avocado lasagne with cucumber and unagi sauce; soy paper cannelloni stuffed with salmon and vegetables; octopus with seaweeds and tomato concasse; sautéed ostrich fillet with soft polenta chips and hoisin sauce…
For the sweet tooth there are plenty of opportunities as well: millefeuille with cherries; marzipan cake with white chocolate and caramel sauce; almond pie with dates, pâtissière cream and ricotta cheese; French style tiramisu.
